Hi I’m John.

I’ve been making videos for 20 years and working in B2B SaaS for 10.

And now in 2024 I’m striking out on my own to help companies with video, podcasts, content marketing, founder marketing, product messaging and in a word, storytelling.

A few things about me

• Studied film at NYU

• Was offered the job of Daniel Day Lewis’s stand-in on There Will Be Blood, but turned it down

• Lived to regret that because There Will Be Blood is my favorite movie

• Lived in Seoul for 5 years after college & started a video production company there

• Back in U.S., did videos for startups, then transitioned to PMM, because that’s where the interesting problems are

• Moved to Sea Ranch after COVID & took up golf
